The National Development Agency of Hungary (acting as the Joint Managing Authority) in co-operation with the Ministry of Construction and Regional Development of Slovakia, the Ministry of Regional Development and Tourism of Romania and the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine (acting as the National Authorities) open a Call for Proposals in the framework of the Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine European Neighbourhood and Partnership Instrument (ENPI) Cross-border Cooperation Programme 2007-2013 from 24 June 2010 to 26 October 2010.

The Joint Monitoring Committee of the Karelia ENPI CBC Programme decided the launching of the Programme at its meeting in Helsinki on 15 December 2009. The first Call for Proposals will be opened on 1 February 2010.
The theme of the call is Cross-border solutions for sustainable spatial, economic and environmental development. The call will be restricted - concept notes should be submitted to the Managing Authority within 45 days of the opening of the first phase of the call.

The Joint Managing Authority of the Latvia-Lithuania-Belarus Cross Border Cooperation Programme within the European Neighbourhood and Partnership Instrument 2007-2013 has announced the first Call for Proposals for cross-border actions to be funded by the European Union as of the 15 December 2009. The Call will be open until 2 April 2010.

The Joint Managing Authority and the Joint Technical Secretariat of the Cross-border Co-operation Programme Poland-Belarus-Ukraine 2007-2013 are announcing the launch of the first Call for Proposals within Priority 1 and Measures 2.1 and 3.1. The 1st Call for Proposals of the Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine ENPI CBC Programme 2007-2013 was launched on 16 June 2009 and will close on 22 September 2009.
Joint Managing Authority is seeking proposals for the following types of activities:
Priority 1 - Supporting cross border partnerships for economic and social development based on combined resources
Measure 1.1: Strengthening accessibility and connectivity for new intra regional information, communication, transport and trade links
Measure 1.2: Creation of tourism networks in order to promote joint tourism development initiatives and traditional products
Measure 1.3 Creation of administrative capacity for the design and implementation of local and regional development policies
Priority 2: Sharing resources and competencies for environmental protection and conservation
Measure 2.1 Strengthening the joint knowledge and information base needed to address common challenges in the environmental protection of river and maritime systems
Measure 2.2 Promoting research and innovation in the field of conservation and environmental protection of protected natural areas
Measure 2.3 Promotion of cooperation initiatives aimed at innovation in technologies and management of Waste and Wastewater Management systems
Priority 3: Supporting cultural and educational initiatives for the establishment of a common cultural environment in the Basin
Measure 3.1 Promoting cultural networking and educational exchange in the Black Sea Basin communities
in the eligible area of the programme:

Ministry of Regional Development and Housing from Romania acting as Joint Managing Authority, launches the first call for proposals for the Joint Operational Programme Romania-Ukraine-Republic of Moldova 2007-2013 on July 1, 2009.
The amount launched under this call is of 30 million euros for the first two Priorities of the Programme:
1. Towards a more competitive border economy
2. Environmental challenges and emergency preparedness
and 5 million euros for the third Priority:
3. People to people Co-operation
Potential beneficiaries are invited to submit project proposals for the first two Priorities of the Programme until 28 October 2009 and for the third Priority until 28 September 2009 at the Joint Technical Secretariat of the Programme: Cross-border Cooperation Regional Office Suceava, Humorului Street no. 961 C, Romania.
Potential beneficiaries of this call for proposals under RO-UA-MD JOP are non-profit legal entities such as: local public authorities, non-governmental organizations, public sector operators having the headquarters in the eligible area of the Programme (Romania - Suceava, Botosani, Iasi, Vaslui, Galati and Tulcea counties, Ukraine - Odessa and Chernivetska oblasts, Republic of Moldova - whole country).
Projects approved under this call for proposals will have as a result development of partnerships between the communities from every side of the border, implementation of projects that will create benefits for the people leaving in the border area.

The first call for projects under the Mediterranean Sea Basin ENPI CBC Programme is now open. It is for all four Programme Priorities and the allocation is over € 32 million.
The deadline for submission of grant applications is 20 October 2009.

The Baltic Sea Region Programme 2007-2013 first call for proposals opened on 25 February and will close on 30 May 2008!

The Baltic Sea Region Programme 2007-2013 is one of the Structural Fund programmes under the Territorial Cooperation Objective of the European Community. However it also integrates ENPI CBC objectives and provides co-financing for the benefit of eligible regions in Russia and Belarus.
For this call, there is a suspension clause for ENPI CBC funds, which means that they will be released only when Russia or Belarus sign a Financing Agreement with the European Commission. This should be done before the end of 2008.
